Testing laboratories of National Institute of Telecommunications -
Central Testing Laboratory,
Telecommunication Equipment Testing Laboratory,
Data Transmission Equipment Testing Laboratory and
EMC Testing Laboratory
perform tests verifying conformity of devices to essential requirements.
Range of tests includes:
- user safety (LVD);
- effective utilisation of spectrum or orbital slots (applicable to radio devices);
- electromagnetic compatiblity (EMC).
Technical requirements are specified in respective harmonised standards.
Test reports constitute a required part of documentation constituting the basis
for conformity evaluation, in order to allow CE marking of a given product and
issuance of declaration of conformity.
Additionally, the laboratories can perform other tests of equipment,
in order to verify their conformance to different standards and recommendations.
