Besides scientific conferences and seminars constituting an opportunity to exchange experiences and to present results of researches to employees of the Institute as well as other scientific & research institutions, the National Institute of Telecommunications organizes also courses offering a wide range of possibilities to extend one's knowledge in fields associated with modern telecommunications and information technologies. They are conducted on various levels of proficiency and have various durations:

basic training
prepared on the most elementary level, lasting from 1 day to 1 week and refer mainly to basic computer skills;
several subjects - for participants with higher technical education, lasting two semesters, based on elements of distance learning;
- studies of the second degree
in the field of telecommunications: Electromagnetics in the Analysis
and Design of Communication and High-speed Systems -
for participants with higher technical education or science education, lasting two semesters, organized together with
University of Nottingham;
-
specialist seminars -
prepared on an average level of proficiency for participants with higher education, lasting 1-3 days and including from 8 to 20 hours of classes;
- workshops -
advanced classes, intended for participants with higher technical education, are conducted by a few selected, high class specialists, often enriched with film presentations; last usually 2 days during which there are 12-18 hours of classes;
- Internet courses -
e-learning:
conducted based on a distance learning method with the use of Internet (access to training materials only using Internet). Internet form of training enables participants to: independently study in times the most convenient for them, lower costs, study in their workplace,maintain easy and regular contacts with instructors and other training participants;

specialist classes -
classes conducted on an average and high level of proficiency, intended for participants with higher technical education, organized outside of Warsaw, lasting 3-5 days and including 20-40 hours of classes;
- lectures -
short addresses of invited speakers (a few hours) for which there are no entrance fees.
Participants of training seminars include mainly employees of Telekomunikacja Polska(TP SA), Poczta Polska, banks, representatives of the state administration, independent operators and employees of other companies running telecommunication and IT activities.
A great interest is always attracted by classes dedicated to trends of technical and service development of telecommunications networks and Internet.
