CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS
The National Institute of Telecommunications in Warsaw together with
L'Istituto Superiore delle
Comunicazioni e delle Tecnologie dell'Informazione ISCOM of the
Italian Communication Ministry, and the
IEEE/LEOS Poland Chapter are pleased to
announce the 9th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks ICTON
2007 which will be kindly hosted in ISA - Istituto Superiore Antincendi, Via del Commercio 13, Rome, Italy, July 1-5, 2007.
ICTON 2007 is receiving technical co-sponsorship by the IEEE Lasers and Electro-Optics Society.
Rome is a vibrant city rich in its ancient and medieval past and in its present.
Rome is served efficiently by several airports with
Leonardo da Vinci Fumicino Airport
being one of the top European destinations.
The scope of the Conference is concentrated on the applications of transparent and
all-optical technologies in broadband telecommunication networks, systems, and

contributions
(max. of 4 pages in electronic form, MS Word accompanied by a PDF version)
for Regular and Poster
Sessions to icton@itl.waw.pl by
April 30, 2007. The authors will be notified on
the acceptance by May 15, 2007. Post-deadline papers with recent
results are requested by May 25, 2007.
Ambitious technical and social programs and friendly relations are traditional
ICTON goals. We are looking forward to the pleasure of welcoming you once
again, this time in Rome in July 2007!
