We are pleased to invite your Administration/Organization to participate in
a Workshop on Optimizing the Transition to a Next
Generation Network, organized by The Telecommunication Development
Bureau of the ITU in Warsaw, Poland from 24 to 27
June 2008, at the kind
invitation of the National Institute of Telecommunications (NIT), in
collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructure, Poland.
This workshop has been developed as part of the Technology Awareness
Programme within the framework of the ITU Centre of Excellence for Europe
and in partnership with the International Institute of Telecommunications
(IIT) of Montreal, Canada.
The Workshop will be conducted in English and will take place in the Hotel
Lord, Aleja Krakowska Street 218, Warsaw, Poland (phone: +48 22 574 20 00,

www.hotellord.com.pl), near the Chopin Airport in Warsaw.
Please note that, prior to this Workshop, on
23 June 2008, the National
Conference on Next Generation Networks: Development Strategies and
Implementation Practices. will be held at the same place. This Conference
is being organized by the National Institute of Telecommunication of Poland
in partnership with Telekomunikacja Polska and Alcatel-Lucent Poland. The
National Conference will be conducted in Polish.
Although there is no participation fee for the Conference, please note that
the registration fee for the Workshop is USD 250 per participant. Payment
Instructions are attached. All expenses concerning travel,
accommodation and insurance of your experts should be covered by your
organization.
